I have ADD and take a med called Tenex. It was developed as a blood pressure pill about 50 years ago. Someone noticed that it helped with ADD/ADHD and concentration. Now the drug company has a new version that is slow release. The slow release version (called Intuniv) costs $600 for 30 pills. The generic version (not slow release) costs $15 for 100 pills. I take the generic version and it works just fine.

The beauty of tenex is that it is not addictive as some of the other add/adhd meds can be.
