No, not pathetic. In a word, human. It's natural to miss those who have left us, especially those who have left us by their own choices. And it's completely natural to miss them worst on the day they left us.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. And I hope you take some comfort in everyone's replies and hugs to your post.
