Since when is natural, antioxidant-rich food poison? I love dark chocolate. After my Restorative Yoga class they give us tiny droplets of dark chocolate, and then I eat some of my own at home. The only chocolate that is too chocolatey for me is 100%; I can eat 99% chocolate although I am usually eating ~85%. Chocolate has never done anything bad for me. Hooray for chocolate.

I have been lucky in that I have been able to eat chocolate all my life. This is because as a teenager and young adult, I had flawless skin - my acne started in my 30s with Lithium. Chocolate used to be blamed for acne. What nonsense! Acne has hormonal causes, unless it is a side effect of a drug. My less lucky girlfriends who had acne as teenagers could not enjoy chocolate. But since then chocolate has been fully rehabilitated.

I love plain, no fillings dark chocolate. I am also lucky in that this kind of chocolate is the best for you health-wise. It is good for your heart and not only it. Read:
