I know an allergy specialist who had a patient who was allergic to blue cheese. He took shots for it, but was told by this specialist never to eat blue cheese. The patient made the mistake of getting blue cheese on his salad at a restaurant and died before he could be treated.
A sensitivity is not that dangerous, but the long-term use for a person who has a sensitivity to caffeine is serious. Again, see
