Yes! I think that I would have appreciated so much more if I could have just talked to her and have had her make some suggestions instead of trying to force CBT down my throat (OK maybe that sounds a bit dramatic). I do think that CBT
maybe would help me once my situaiton stabilizes, but yesterday I just wanted someone to talk to instead of pointing out my distorted thoughts.
