Hi there,
I've reached my "that's it!!" point and I don't want to feel like a freaking cluster**** anymore. I've been struggling with my ADHD for 21 years, and I'm finally on the cusp of hiring an ADHD coach. I did a bunch of research on it and decided on the one I want, and I even contacted her to discuss the idea. I want to do it. I think I owe it to myself, and to everyone that cares about me (and has to deal with me when I get frustrated and do dumb things, like overdraw my account. Again.).
The only problem? Cost. $400 a month. My wallet hurts just thinking about it. I'm pretty sure I can find a way (ask for help from my parents, grandparents, etc.), but I'd like to know before I start this, has anyone had positive/negative coaching experiences or heard of any? What might I expect out of this?
And WHY isn't this more talked about as a treatment for ADHD?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
