Sometimes it will only last until you are a young adult (21-24) and then will "fade away". It also can stay for the rest of your life, an important thing to do is to start on medication and some form of therapy (CBT etc...) the more you are able to work on controlling it early the easier it will be later and you want to try and find the right medication preferably earlier then later.
