Had another one of my dreams last night. I don't remember a lot, but I'll try to give what detail I do remember.
My dad said that we had to leave because a forest fire was getting close to our house. I didn't know there even was a fire, so I asked where or how close it was and he said it was getting too close. I grabbed my backpack, which supposedly had my laptop and such in it, as it usually does, and my sister, dad and I left on a motorcycle or something (we do have one, but it's not operational and I've never seen my dad drive one before). I remember he left a large piece of cardboard hanging at the front of our house with a note on it. I didn't get to read it, but dad said it was for the fire crews, something like a "thanks for not helping" kind of note.
Before we could even get to the road, the fire cut us off and we had to turn around. We then got cut off again and eventually ended up back at the house. We have two buildings: the main house (one story) and a two-story building right next to it, the downstairs is a garage and upstairs is half my room and the other half is an office. At first, I remember the property being completely surrounded by the fire, some areas being burned and we had to fight it off ourselves. Next thing I know, there's only a few small brush fires left and we get them out with a couple hoses or something. I didn't see the inside of the house, but from the outside at the front, it seemed to have been spared. The other building took some damage to the outside. I was sure that the inside would have been destroyed, but when I went upstairs, nothing inside was burned. The room was clean and the furniture was in different places from how it is now, so that little bit confused me, but I was also relieved to see that the only damage was outside.
That's all I can remember. What do you guys think it means? This is the second fire dream I've had (the first one was different, but still a fire), and I'm wondering what it could mean.
