Do you realize how many meds there are out there to treat bipolar? There are TONS! I'm sure there are about 15 different bipolar meds alone that us here on the bipolar forums take, let alone the meds we need to take for our other Dx

If the meds aren't working for you, say it. My meds happen to work for me without needing to switch them and I am actually coming off of them. Other people here have had to switch their meds frequently because they don't work. Meds don't work for everyone.
