Great! I'm so excited for you =) Unconditional love is tremendous for us.
I had a Cairn Terrier (Buddy) for almost 14 yrs then he passed away - he was my baby!! Depression set in immediately and all I did was cry and sleep. My hubby bought me a Westie puppy (Zoe) who is almost 7 months now.
She definately did not replace my Buddy boy but I'm so glad I have her now. It's amazing the bond between us and our pets. She is definately part of our family.
We have a special connection with our pets. I believe it helps our depression and other issues.
