Hi... To begin, I'm BPII, started feeling symptoms, mainly depression in 1996, dx'd bp in 2005. Within a relatively short time I began to have episodes where my brain would "freeze" for want of a better word. In other words when I would try to do something that required serious planning and execution my head would just lock up–not able to continue, not able to think. I get a "heavy" sensation in the front of my head, rather like its been filled up with lead. I get pretty confused and I withdraw til I feel better.

As time went on I was not able to hold a job and I'm on disability. I tried going back to school, but I dropped out 3 out of the 4 semesters I was there–my brain just couldn't deal.

Tonight I began doing some maintenance on my band's equipment. I started my first task, and could not find a particular connector I needed. No problem, do something else, find the connector later. Start a new task, I begin to wonder if I'll mess up all the settings, ok, let's work with the wiring, oh damn it's too dark, I'll go ahead and put up thos new lights in the shop onandonandon.... Pretty soon I'm in a tizzy, my frontal lobes feel like bolders in my head and a massive headache and pretty disoriented.

So, I did what I usually do when I feel crazy... Come hang with y'all. I was just curious if a anyone else has had symptoms like these... Incredible racing thoughts accompanied by confusion and strange head "pains". I sure hope not, but sure like to hear from y'all. TIA
