It may have seemed like a nice thing to have at first, but personally, in the long run - it has done nothing but diminished my quality of life and made me miserable. Now I face a dilemma: do I continue these deeply ingrained habits and irrational rituals, and continue spiraling downward, OR do I try to derail it all with the possibility of then suffering distressing obsessions and anxiety attacks? At this point, I'd go with the latter.
Anyone else?
