I was in the pits of hell depression for 2 1/2 years and I too am scared to go back, but I am BP1 and am manic oriented so hopefully I can just stay up and manic for the rest of my life again. I went 53 years without ever having to face a hard depression like that one. My manic episodes can also be scary but in a different way. Hang in there.
