Volounteer work can be a great thing to do! I've spent some time working for he RSPCA and for riding for the disabled and I enjoyed it very much. It looks terrific on your CV too :-)

Looking for a job can be a bit disheartening... I've never looked for one, but I've heard... As part of your degree do you get to do work placement? I just wonder 'cause we have this btech degree which involves one year of lab placement to make it more likely that people will get work at the end. The work is volountary... But it is worthwhile to do that to get experience and to meet contacts and stuff.

Yeah.... Even a couple days a week. Enjoy your holiday too... But it can help the body (and ones mood) to have a bit of structure.
