While AmandaLouise is right to some aspect I think the part where they would cook full meals for the adults wasn't fully read. Them using food to punish a child, the lack of food that is, and rubbing it in their face while making them go to the table to say grace, I'd say that yes, here in the US, starving your child as punishment is abuse. Even if you're from another country, it's dangerous, immoral and pretty low, most parents think nothing other than how they WILL feed their children.

It's sickening the things that go on in other countries and even in our own and it makes me so angry sometimes, when these people have someone standing up for their cruelty.

I'm sorry you went through that Sanada, I understand why you were such a frustrated child, it's not easy and is rather upsetting to be treated that way
