Look - There's nothing wrong with being shy -- I think it's kinda sexy when a guy is shy - I REALLY DO.
It might be hard, but go ahead and approach a girl and just ask her name. Then just tell her you're kinda shy and it's hard for you to start conversations, and she'll pick up on that and help you with talking. And if it's a washout, who cares???? You HAVE to be prepared for rejection in this life. EVERYONE gets rejected. Everyone gets it at one time or another -- and some get it many times.  I never had much luck, even tho I've been married twice. That doesn't mean guys were falling all over themselves trying to get to my door.  HA.
