Bless your heart -- keeping food from children IS abuse, and I don't care WHERE you live. Starving a child is horrible. That isn't "punishment' for any sins committed -- it's out and out abuse, and I wish the abusers went to hell!
I'm so sorry you were the victim of this Sanada.  I can see where the smell of food would trigger you, but I HOPE you eat well.  I pray that doesn't keep you from eating a healthy meal.
