My son came home from school a short time ago, a timid look on his face. Very uncharacteristic for him. He said, "Dad, I have my report card." I thought, "Uh oh". He handed it to me, head down (he's taking drama, no kidding, huh?). I looked, and an enormous smile crossed my face when I saw four A's and two B's! He stuggled so badly at the beginning of the year after making the Honor Roll last year, but he assured me that he would be OK, and he was right!
My wallet shivered in my back pocket when I saw the report card too, as we give the kids $10 for A's and $5 for B's. He's reminded me that we also have a deal that if they bring home a straight A card at the end of the year, they get double...I'll gladly pay it!
This kid must get his brains from his Mom, she's the smart one around here. But he got his heart and his size 13 feet from me

I just wanted to share this with all of you. I hope you don't get tired of hearing me talk about my wife and kids, but they have a very special place in my heart, and so do all of you.
Love to all,
Greg
