Hey Greenleaves, I hear you loud and clear! I sometimes feel this way too. Anxious, agitated, jumpy, nervous, irritable. Losing it. Not having a grip on myself. Distracting myself doesn't do the trick. What does really help to calm me is accessing my emotions. Bringing them into awareness. It helps to write it out, and you can do so here. We are here for you. What is it that you want and are not getting? It's not about whether you will get it or not. You would like validation for what it is you are wanting and not getting, right? It also helps me to take a short nap, but if you're saying you've been sleeping a lot I'm not sure you need more sleep.
I've found that when I get worked up emotionally I feel exhausted and I crave a nap. Because a nap brings me back down to a state of calm.
