Its rough when you are down and don't get to see your T for a while. It just adds to the feelings! (at least for me)
Did you happen to write down what her tips for not cutting were? Maybe you could review them. Can you journal or write a letter to T about what's going on with your mom right now? Even if it is in the darkest hardest writing ever, especially if you are angry, I have found that helps get the pain out. (plus you will have it in the future...I just found my journals from 10 years ago...)
