My heart goes out to you. I too would suggest getting an attorney no matter what. I had to borrow the money from my father, which I hated to do, but there was no other way. I also was tempted to even get a loan from the bank. Do what you have to do, but definitely get an attorney. I believe there are legal aid groups that might be able to help. I would've tried that in my state, but the groups are all overwhelmed and couldn't help.
