I've used self wheelers and pushed wheelers

The travel one is so much lighter, compact, and easier to maneuver (can't do any of that anymore)... but they aren't much to rent if you plan to fly or go somewhere. This smaller one fits behind the front seat easily, the regular push kind takes up a lot of trunk space. I felt the seat support was about the same.
