I vote acupuncture! I used to suffer mortifying, gut wrenchingly painful kidney infections as a teenager, and believe you me, I'm no sissy. My gp was perplexed, and worried, then he gave me acupuncture once, haven't had any infections or pain there in 12yrs! Idk if it would help, but in my book its worth a shot. those Dr's are moronic jerks!
