JoGI has done that to several of his beds.....I keep him in the kitchen also because he likes to fight with Leo & they can't be together....If I leave JoGI alone too long in the kitchen without his mommy attention.....it tears apart everything around him. I also have him attached to the oven door with a long leash & he's been known to chew through that also.

I actually put the stuffing in a bag with hopes of restuffing the bed some day....that some day hasn't come.

Looks like your doggie & JoGI would get along great....same interior decorating styles they enjoy.
