I had a German Shepherd I kept in the kitchen instead of a crate when she was a puppy. Instead of a pillow, I laid down a soft comforter for her to use as a bed. It worked out well, until she discovered how to slide over the pantry door and open the "Lazy Susan."
While I was a work, she discovered a full box of powdered cocoa. Her teeth punctured the container and she apparently shook it all over the floor. She then discovered a box of Raisin Bran, and did the same thing. She wandered over to the pantry, found a can of beer, and sprayed the entire floor.
What a mess, not to mention an interesting aroma. She was still playing with the can when I came home. She was so happy and proud of herself, I didn't have the heart to scold her.
