Congratulations on seeking help. I agree with everyone else about a doctor's opinion. I am also new here but have a lot of experience with depression, especially low grade depression. The good news is, there is a lot of help out there, and a lot of solutions. Don't give up until you find one that works for you, your new life could just be beginning.
