The beauty of therapy is that it is an artificial relationship - by that, I mean you are meeting with someone who you likely would not have met in real life, who you don't have to respond to on a daily basis, etc. Therefore, practice in therapy what you are having trouble with in "real life". I have been on both sides of the couch (as a clinician and a patient). As a clinician, I always would appreciate it when a patient/client was brutally honest with me about my skills.

I do wish you well...and that was a great idea to block your aunt's texts.

SO it was a good idea? i felt better yesterday, but bad today because im not that kind of person. Ive never blocked anyone before. I wrote my sister a happy birthday text, but she didn't respond, so she prob. isn't talking to me..I sent her a card yesterday too. just feel lonely.
