When summer comes, I dye and cut my hair real short as winter comes I just leave it down. When I feel particularly bad I'll dye my hair and put make up on. If I have to go somewhere that requires a "human" color I'll dye my hair the day before. I wish I knew how to do more than just change the color or put it in a bun but I haven't work up the motivation either. I'm sending you all my motivation to help boost yours.
