), I have no problem with long-winded replies. It may mean that someone's message gets lost in the shuffle or not read, but there's nothing inherently wrong with that. And that potential consequence is the consequence of the writer, not the reader. As rf said, the reader is free to choose to read, skim, stop reading, or not read at all.
