Those "old friends" are only friends when you're smoking. They aren't friends when you're sober. They don't want anything to do with you when you're sober, do they? They don't come around when you're not smoking, do they? They wouldn't help you out with anything if you were sober, would they? Heck NO. They'd be too "out of it" to help. They aren't "friends." They don't know the meaniing of "friendship." 
God saved your life before and He'll do it again. He's been walking WITH you all thru this. He never left you. He's been right there with you the whole time! Just ask Him and He'll come to you -- you know that! If you haven't felt Him there, YOU were the one who walked away, not HIM.
Ask Him to get you thru this craving again. Smoking pot is NOT glamorous. It is INSANITY. That isn't glamorous.
