I used to be very short sighted and wore ("bullet-proof") glasses, saving my disposable contacts for outings or special events. I always battled with my contacts though - my eyes are quite sensitive.
I was then fortunate enough to undergo lasic surgery which truly changed my life. My eyes have deteriorated a bit since the surgery but I am unable to have it again so I settle for my much lighter glasses now.

I'd really like this but ONE thing that puts me off is that a friend who went for a consultation was told that your vision can change quite a bit after you have babies, and she was advised to wait until after she'd had at least one (because you can usually only have the laser once??)
I'm not sure if this is true for everyone, and I should really check it properly for myself
Sounds like it was great for you S :!!
