I have booked for next Friday. And that day I should be fine. Did some google research and believe this doc (it's a man, but I totally understand your point on females) is really nice.
Not sure what to expect. Assume I wear any clothes as I'll just undress anyway and get into a gown? Going to just take some time off work.
I know everyone asks this, but is there any pain really? I mean, I am sexually active and in a relationship, so it's not like I'm not comfortable with my "parts".
I just called and asked to book an appointment. Told the receptionist I hadn't been to see them before (she will have assumed I'd been to a gynae before though, I'm sure...), but I didn't ask for any specific tests (pap smear?!) To be done.
What constitutes a standard "appointment"?
