(Especially veggies! But fruit also if you do not have diabetes.)
I have a co-worker who goes on these crazy fad diets. She's not even very over weight, maybe 15-20 lbs if that. Anyway, she was once on a diet that didn't allow her to eat any veggies at all.... and she had to take vitamins instead. Such a diet is extremely unhealthy and should be avoided at all costs! Of course, she doesn't listen to anyone unless they are an advertisment.

That is good to hear, as I was extremely upset about the apparent prohibition of fruit. I love veggies, but it is boring with veggies alone. I will count an apple as a snack-appropriate 15 g of carbs. Thank you for the advice!
