On Thursday at 4:00, I am choosing to confront my father and mother in order to protect my 2 yo daughter. I don't want to go into details for fear it may trigger someone. I am asking for well wishes, peaceful, positive thoughts, and prayers to help this meeting. My goal is for my father to choose to seek treatment and therefore be allowed to continue to be a part of my daughter's life. If he does not choose treatment (and I doubt he will), he cannot be a part of my daughter's life anymore because she would not be safe.
