Hi, I'm 40. I've been depressed most of my life. I don't have any friends where I am and I'm not working right now so I feel completely alone and isolated. I'm also an introvert with some social anxiety so joining a group is OUT OF THE QUESTION!! I've been on antidepressants before and they didn't help much. I'm not sure how antidepressants will help anyway when my problem is I feel completely alone and have no friends.. Anyway, I'm wondering if there is a forum somewhere for 40+ year olds? I get the feeling this is mostly younger people on here.. I'd love to find someone I could just email back and forth for support and friendship. But I don't know where to do that. Any help/suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
