I feel for you Moose. He seems like a jerk. And, if I was his "soulmate" I wouldn't want him in my life either, actually. Because if he's not telling you about him being over there, and acting like he's a cheat when you're just friends, then he obviously isn't even telling her that you exist. (It makes sense.) And, if he puts this spin on it, then it makes him look like a lying cheat all around... no, I wouldn't be happy about that at all.

Plus the texting every night, being intimate (emotionally) friends, then dropping off like that suddenly without warning... his behavior is not healthy for anyone. Not you, him, or her either.

Maybe this isn't a very healthy friendship. I know you've been saying that you don't have a lot of people to talk to recently. But, having toxic people is worse than having none at all. I learned that the hard way.
