I have found the relaxation technique very difficult to work with. My mind races, and I cannot get my mind to slow down enough to focus on just my breathing or just one object of focus. This contributes to my anxieties. I realize that the breathing is supposed to bring down the heart rate and calm the body and mind but my mind is too active to accomplish the focused breathing.
