Not sure what it's like in your area but it might be that she's not your only option? You might be able to get put on a wait list or something - I'd try going bugging the absolute **** out of your GP until they do something to help you - maybe they can refer you to the crisis team?

Or, I imagine you're under enough financial pressure if you're worried about losing your job, but if you can possibly afford to go private, that's what I'd advise - you could get sessions for around £40, some even offer a sliding scale... might sound like a lot of money, but if it means you can get treatment and therefore manage to keep your job, it might be worth it? I'm just speaking from experience - I tried the NHS but didn't get the help I sorely needed and had to give everything up because it got to the stage I couldn't cope.
