All of your well-wishes, thoughts and prayers must have really helped today. The confrontation with my Dad took place. He doesn't remember what happened, most likely because he was having blackouts every night from alcohol during that time. He did not affirm or deny what happened, said that he is very sorry to have hurt me, and agreed to go into treatment so that he can safely interact with my daughter. My Mom was able to listen to everything without getting too defensive for not protecting me and agreed to get therapy to help deal with what is going on now. This was truly so much better than what I was hoping for!!!!
