It's not so much what CE said. It was his T's response I found a bit unbelievable. If his T had replied "and how does what I'm wearing effect you" I could see some therapeutic good coming from it. But I cannot imagine a T just blurting out "oh I love your honesty". All seems a little contrived IMHO.
