This is a good thread. I don't have a husband or someone I love romantically, but I do have a boyfriend. He isn't always supportive and doesn't do a lot of things he should (I'm not perfect, either), but there are some things he gets right:

He does the dishes on my birthday.

He works and pays his portion of the bills.

He's concerned for me when someone does something that causes me distress with my OCD.

He thanks me for cooking dinner.

He usually (not always) buys me ice cream and junk I shouldn't have when I request it.

He drives my mom and me to Wal-mart and other places when she wants us to go shopping together.

And these aren't things he does for me, but that I adore about him:

He really likes children and gets along with them well.

He has a great relationship with his sisters, especially the younger one.
