I agree with Christina. I take my diabetes pill right after I eat my breakfast at work; after all, I can't take the darned thing on an empty stomach. My "Breakfast of Champions" (Lamictal, Losartan, Vit. D, fish oil, naproxen, Zyrtec and spironolactone) goes down fine at home, but the metformin's gotta wait till I get some food on board.
OTOH, if I need a PRN lorazepam or Zyprexa, I just take it and don't explain or apologize to anybody.
