Because it's not that easy. Long hair takes a long time to grow, it's like just cutting off a journey. Long hair is a sense of accomplishment in a way, in that it took a lot of perseverance. I always felt like long hair was part of my image, so it's just going to be a huge change. Just chopping it off is like cutting off 2 years of a goal.
