I'm presuming sectioning is putting you in temporary hospitalization for mental health. It sounds like he has a plan. I'd trust him and go with it. The sectioning is probably so that your sleeping activities can be monitored without putting yourself or anyone else in harm's way. That you have the episode documented by the dr. is a GOOD thing. It's a solid confirmation of a deeper, more critical need of help. Typically being hospitalized would be long enough to figure out what helps you get better, stabilize you on said treatment, and get you set up to get back out in the world.
