I'm so sorry to hear that. You are a teacher that really cares. It would be a shame to lose you.
I looked into teaching at one point, crossing over from adult education into earlier educ., and was astonished at two things: 1. how much time was spent on discipline and order in the classroom, but more importantly, 2. the redundancy of the administrative checks and evaluations. I can see why it would be so difficult to teach, besides being very frustrating and stressful. I hope this year will go better than it appears from the get go.
Teachers will always be my heroes.
