Okay, so, I wasn't sure where I should put this, so if this is the wrong spot, kindly tell me and I'll relocate to where I should be.

Anyways, I personally do not have Autism. It was on of the things I was suspected of having, but it turns out I have something else instead.

My question lingers around someone else. I want to work with children that have autism and I currently volunteer at the school for summer school and I work with a little boy that has it.

My question is, however, how should I try to get him to concentrate? I was thinking I could ask those of you that have experience in this area, so that I might try and get him to pay attention. He does some of his work rather well but most of the time, he likes to goof off and do other things than what he should be doing.

One of the ideas we had was that he really likes coloring race cars. So we tried saying he could color a race car if he did his work.

Does anyone else have any suggestions for me?

Again, if this is in the wrong spot, I will gladly move it. Just let me know!

Thank you!
