Seeing an acupuncturist or chiropractor or even a massage therapist could help loosen your muscles and relieve the tension. Then it may be easier to get into Yoga etc.

Pilates is an aerobic exercise that has a lot of focus in breathing. There are also guided muscle relaxation techniques.
