I'm back... things are not that simple. I am underslept (5 hours instead of 8) and I have reached my limit on what I can productively do. Thanks for all the good wishes!!! Speaking of nerves, Venus... I told them that my availability is Tue-Fri in the AM. I specifically said AM because I get anxiety attacks ONLY in the PM. Of course I did not want an anxiety attack during an interview.

Well, they scheduled me for 1-5PM. That means that I am at risk. That also means that I will skip the weekly staff meeting at my current job, which is not good. But I did not dare raise a voice. So now I have to deal with a PM interview, and my question is whether to rely on adrenaline taking care of anxiety or taking maybe half a pill of Klonopin ahead of time? I tried taking one quarter of a pill of Klonopin on Friday just to make sure it does not make me sleepy; it did not. I basically felt no effect. Maybe I should try taking half a pill tomorrow to make sure THAT does not make me sleepy, and then decide. I will have to think on my feet, and I want to make sure that Klonopin does not blunt cognitive abilities; does anyone know? I am sure anxiety does not help cognitive abilities, so I need a good balance here.

It will be a 4-hour long interview. I will take a 4-glass bottle of Vitalyte with me to keep my mind sharp (dehydration affects thinking). And I will exercise in the morning - using the fact that the interview is in the PM - supposedly that helps cognitive abilities afterwards.

But the main thing is to get enough sleep. That is more important than all the reading I have been doing...
