I've found when I'm having a really severe panic attack, if I can find ANYway to distract myself---such as, as mentioned, calling Crisis Center, or calling someone and listening to them talk. For some reason that will calm me down a good bit, cause it gets me out of the, "Oh ***** I'm dying!" thing. When I worked and had them, I'd always end up having to pee a lot, so I took a lot of bathroom breaks---you get up and moving, and you sort of can break it up a lil, kinda.
