oh. i think i'm figuring out what this is about.
nobody can say what is going on because talking about what is going on would actually involve talking about an administrative issue that one isn't allowed to talk about.
i could use an analogy... i know we aren't allowed to talk about other boards... are we allowed to talk about hypothetical other boards do you think?
i had a dream...
i had a dream last night...
and in my dream i dreamt about a board* (whose resemblance with other boards either fictional or actually on the internet or actually having been had on the internet or actually going to be on the internet is completely coincidental)... and anyway so this hypothetical board that bears little or no resemblance to any other board on the internet (in the past present or future) was going to have private boards restricted to invite only.
:-O
are we allowed to talk about that as a hypothetical how-would-you-feel-about-that-if-it-were-to-happen?
though i'm guessing it has been hashed through already.
and i'm guessing docjohn* (whose resemblance to anyone living or nonliving and so on and so forth) got a little upset jumped up and down blocked and locked and so now people are forced to reduce to passive agression
(way to go john!)
because...
what else is there to be done?
sigh.
i guess clarification would be useful because people are starting to think it is about them. i was worrying it was about me. but it isn't... is it? it is more about what admin* (no resemblance etc disclamer) is doing to divide teh community. you know at the other board that shall not be named... even he the almighty i don't give a jack diddly squat what you think i'm continuing on my merry way regardless moderator didn't dare have exclusive boards. for the reason that posters packed a wobbly everytime the issue came up. i actually was helping him bring them around (within limits certainly not INVITATION ONLY rather FIRST COME FIRST SERVED) but that wasn' tworking out so well... even less division... and a whole heap of hurt feelings and anger.
why?
exclusion. who felt excluded as a kid? who wants to feel excluded again? anybody?
yeech.
